Inside The Formula 1 Exhibition Singapore At Gardens By The Bay

Formula 1 racing suits and helmets on display at the Formula 1 Exhibition Singapore at Gardens by the Bay.

Formula 1 fans in Singapore now have another reason to head to Gardens by the Bay.

Making its Asian debut in Singapore, the Formula 1 Exhibition brings more than seven decades of racing history under one roof, with iconic race cars, rare memorabilia, interactive displays and behind-the-scenes stories from the sport.

Singapore is the 11th city to host the travelling exhibition, following stops in cities including Madrid, London, Amsterdam and Melbourne. Running from 23 July to 18 October 2026, its arrival is also well timed ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix this October.

Seven Immersive Galleries To Explore

The Formula 1 Exhibition unfolds across seven themed galleries, taking visitors through the past, present and future of the sport.

The journey begins at Once Upon A Time In Formula 1, where archival footage, photography and memorabilia revisit some of F1’s defining moments.

From there, Revolution By Design and Design Lab take a closer look at the technology and engineering behind Formula 1, while Drivers and Duels explores the champions and rivalries that have shaped the sport.

There are also plenty of rare artefacts to see along the way, from race suits and helmets to exclusive archival footage and interactive installations.

Get Up Close With Five Iconic F1 Cars

For many fans, the cars will naturally be one of the biggest highlights.

Five Formula 1 cars are on display in Singapore: the Red Bull RB7, Williams FW15C, Lotus E21, Toyota TF109 and BAR Honda 005.

Among them is Sebastian Vettel’s championship-winning Red Bull RB7, which he drove to victory at the 2011 Singapore Grand Prix during a dominant season that saw him win 11 races and secure his second consecutive Drivers’ Championship.

Another standout is the Williams FW15C, regarded as one of the most technologically advanced Formula 1 cars of its era. Driven by Alain Prost and Damon Hill, it secured both the Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships in 1993.

Fans of Kimi Räikkönen can also look out for the Lotus E21, which took him to victory at the 2013 Australian Grand Prix and a podium finish here in Singapore.

See What Goes Into Building An F1 Car At Design Lab

For a closer look beneath the bodywork, head into Design Lab, where the focus shifts from racing to the engineering behind the cars.

Here, visitors can explore individual F1 components and learn more about how different parts of the car are designed and developed for performance. Displays break down everything from aerodynamics and tyres to the technical innovations that have changed Formula 1 over the years.

Step Into The World Of F1 Drivers

Drivers & Duels puts the spotlight on the personalities behind the sport. More than 50 racing helmets are displayed throughout the circuit-inspired room, alongside race suits worn by champions including Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen.

The room also features some of the exhibition’s more interactive experiences. Visitors can design their own racing helmet, customising its colours and decals before adding their name. Once completed, the customised design can be saved to your phone via a QR code.

There’s also an interactive podium experience where you can select your favourite F1 team and see yourself dressed in the team’s race suit before celebrating a virtual first-place finish.

Experience The Race From The Pit Wall

Another highlight is The Pit Wall, an immersive cinematic installation that uses three walls of archival footage, visuals and sound to recreate the intensity of Formula 1.

The approximately five-minute experience brings together moments from across the sport’s 76-year history, offering a change of pace from the cars and memorabilia found throughout the other galleries.

Race Around The Marina Bay Street Circuit

Those looking for something more hands-on can also try the exhibition’s state-of-the-art racing simulators, where visitors can take on Singapore’s Marina Bay Street Circuit.

Simulator access is available as an add-on, while selected premium Pole Position tickets include the experience.

Pick Up Some F1 Merch Before You Leave

Before leaving, make a final stop at the Formula 1 Exhibition merchandise store, where you’ll find a selection of official F1 products alongside exclusive merchandise created for the exhibition.

Expect everything from team apparel and caps to model cars, collectibles and Formula 1 Exhibition souvenirs, an easy final pit stop if you’re looking to bring something home.
