French leather goods label Polène has opened its first Singapore boutique, welcoming shoppers on 29 July 2026 at Marina Bay Sands. The launch follows years of the brand building a devoted following here, with many fans previously having to track down its bags on trips to Seoul or Tokyo in Asia.

The 84-square-metre store draws its design language from the traditional fishing huts that once lined Singapore’s coast. That heritage nod comes through in a canopy of suspended, handwoven full-grain Italian leather panels overhead, which filters light through the space while echoing the curved silhouettes found in Polène’s bag designs. The rest of the interior leans on clean architectural lines and sculptural walnut furnishings, giving the boutique a warm, tactile feel in keeping with the brand’s design sensibility.
A standout feature is an installation called Craft at Work – A Puzzle of Leather, which gives visitors a glimpse into how a Polène bag is actually made. A machine built specifically for the Singapore store cuts out the 36 individual leather pieces that form the Mokki bag, before the components are sent to artisans in Ubrique, Spain, for final assembly.
Visiting the Store
With a physical boutique now open locally, shoppers looking for its iconic pieces like the Numéro Dix, Cyme or Mokki can now shop the collection and more in person.
