1. Public Garden

Public Garden returns to Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre this weekend, bringing together independent designers, artists and makers from Singapore and around Asia.

Spread across Halls 405 and 406, the two-day market is a good place to browse fashion, accessories, ceramics, stationery, art and other lifestyle finds. This edition also features regional creatives including Macau illustrator Mr Bubbles, Japanese character designer OHIGEnoPON and miniature bread sculptures by Japan’s Kotoko Bakery.

2. Konbini x Apple Farmacy: Bon Appétit

Konbini and Apple Farmacy are teaming up for Bon Appétit, a whimsical party-inspired market filled with finds from independent makers.

Expect plenty of cute wares and creative finds across the two-day market, making this a smaller alternative for those looking to spend the weekend browsing independent labels.

3. Frankenstein

For something more experimental, Frankenstein brings together works by leftfield makers who take an unconventional approach to making.

The exhibition features objects constructed from repurposed materials and held together using everything from staples and stitches to nails, bindings and screws. Opening day takes place on 12 September, with the exhibition continuing until 3 October by appointment.

4. A Thing of Sense x Hans Chew

Homegrown scent label A Thing of Sense has teamed up with ceramic artist Hans Chew to reinterpret its latest fragrance launch through ceramics.

The collaboration centres around three ingredient-led scents inspired by Cucumber, Mushroom and Aubergine, with Chew bringing each fragrance to life through specially created ceramic pieces. Visitors can discover the scents and their ceramic interpretations across the two-day launch.

5. Oden Party at Casual Poet Library

Round off the week with an intimate evening at Casual Poet Library, where artist and chef Sean Gwee is hosting a special one-night-only oden gathering.

Alongside warm bowls of oden, the evening doubles as a listening party dedicated to cult Japanese electronic band Yellow Magic Orchestra, making this one for anyone after a slower Saturday night of food and music.
