Originally inspired by cafes in Melbourne, Mont Blanc coffee combines cold brew or espresso with a cloud of lightly sweetened cream, finished with orange zest and nutmeg for a dessert-like yet balanced drink. It was first served in 2021 at Melbourne bar-cafe Good Measure, whose co-founder Brandon Jo based it on a filter coffee with a cream top he tried in South Korea. The drink went viral on social media and has since spread to cafes across Asia.

The cafe is known for roasting its own beans in-house, so it’s a good pick if you want your Mont Blanc made with a coffee base that’s a cut above the usual.
